Local charities that will benefit from your contributions include the San Antonio Food Bank, Autism Treatment Center, CASA of South Texas, San Antonio Pets Alive! and 100 Club of San Antonio, to name a few.
In San Antonio, H-E-B donated a truckload of snacks and more than 1,000 prepared sandwiches to the San Antonio Food Bank in support of evacuees sheltered in the city.
The Food Bank’s Hunters for the Hungry will process donated whole deer and donate the venison to needy families — at no cost to the hunter.
Over the past year, the San Antonio Food Bank has helped provide food to more than 30,000 people in the Southside Independent School District. To show its appreciation, Superintendent of Schools Mr. Rolando Ramirez honored the San Antonio Food Bank and presented a custom-made plaque to Food Bank CEO Eric Cooper.

A total of 22,000 pounds of food was delivered from the San Antonio Food Bank to include chicken, pork, fresh produce, milk, eggs, and various other nonperishable goods.
