Feeding Hope

Disaster Relief at the
San Antonio Food Bank

In times of disaster, one thing remains true: we take care of each other. When disaster strikes, food becomes more than a daily need—it becomes a source of comfort, hope, and strength. Whether responding to emergencies across Southwest Texas or supporting sister Food Banks through the Feeding Texas and Feeding America networks, the San Antonio Food Bank stands ready to help. From providing emergency food and water to mobilizing volunteers and distributing critical supplies, we are committed to nourishing our communities and helping families recover.

Your support ensures that when crisis hits—whether fire, flood, or storm—relief is on the way. Thank you for standing with us, and with our neighbors, in times of need.

Just having someone show up with help…it means everything.

It was one less thing to worry about. We’re just so thankful. We lost everything. Everything we built in 52 years, gone. The San Antonio Food Bank showed up. The immediate response from the volunteers is very much appreciated by all of us.
