On July 28, players and coaches went to United Methodist Church to help unload three trucks and one trailer worth of food from the San Antonio Food Bank for the UMC food pantry. The group of 20 players and coaches adjusted their workout schedule for the day so they could lend a helping hand.
There will be a mega food distribution on Saturday, August 15, at the Poteet Strawberry Festival Grounds. Preregistration is required and can be completed at www.safoodbank.org.
The program seeks to help provide more than 50 million meals* in response to the growing demand for food and add to Wells Fargo’ssupport for its customers, employees, and communities during COVID-19.

In recognition of National Hot Dog Day on July 22, members of the North American Meat Institute (NAMI or the Meat Institute) are working with Feeding America to donate more than 325,000 hot dogs to food banks across the nation for people in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.
