Feed SA 2014
Feed SA is a multi-congregational Food & Fund Drive during the spring harvest season to feed the hungry in San Antonio. Feed SA was started by City Church (B.R.C.C.) in 2009 with the intention of becoming a city-wide, multi-religious and multi-denominational food drive. Feed SA has grown since its inception to include several other congregations in our community but we need your help to reach our ambitious goal to collect 250,000 pounds of food in the spring of 2014.
The San Antonio Food Bank invites you to host a Food & Fund Drive at your congregation around a springtime holiday—be it Lent, Easter, Passover, or the First Day of Spring.
The San Antonio Food Bank serves 58,000 people each week through more than 530 partner agencies in 16 counties. 36% of those we serve each week are children and 14% are elderly. We are able to do this because of the generosity and support of local businesses, congregations, foundations, corporations, government, civic groups and individuals in our community.
