Donated $13,047 from guests booking rooms via the Omni website – “ Say Good Night to Hunger” book a room feed a family campaign enables the San Antonio Food Bank the ability to provide 91,329 meals for the community
San Antonio Macy’s Locations:
Donated 33,180 meals to the San Antonio Food Bank
Security Federal Service:
3,500 meals donated to the San Antonio Food Bank
Smithfield:
Donated a full truck load of sliced smoked hams totaling 42,000 lbs. or 32,813 meals
Washtub:
Donated 2018 Fiesta Medal Sales to the San Antonio Food Bank providing (70,000) meals for the community

GRANTS
Najim Family Foundation – $150,000 to support the Childhood Hunger Initiative:
The endeavor works through the Kids Café program, the Summer Food Service Program, the BackPack and Farm Fresh programs, and an annual emergency food distribution to an average of 78,600 children.
Charity Ball Association – $50,000 will be used for the continuation of the Farm Fresh Fridays program
This effort is executed by providing an assortment of the freshest fruits and vegetables to children each Friday, to be consumed during the weekend with their family.
WellMed Charitable Foundation – $20,000 for the implementation of the Senior Homebound Grocery Delivery program
The program seeks to address the unmet nutritional needs of senior populations by providing a 40-pound box of nutritious food to homebound seniors every month.
Tyson – $40,000 in support of Rural Mobile Pantry Distributions
Distributions will take place in the counties of Guadalupe and Comal beginning in June 2018 and extending through May 2019.
United HealthCare – $30,000 in support of the Diabetes Nutrition Intervention project
In collaboration with the San Antonio Food Bank’s Nutrition, Health, & Wellness Department, and Robert B. Green University Health System Campus, this partnership will address food insecurity among patients affected by type 2 diabetes.
Nationwide – $55,000 intended to support the Grocery Rescue Program
Over the course of the funding period, the Grocery Rescue vehicle sponsored by Nationwide will provide more than 251,800 meals.
