Supporting Those Who’ve Served – Together
The San Antonio Food Bank’s Veteran Care Program is a new initiative designed to strengthen the support system for veterans transitioning out of homelessness. Through partnerships with trusted veteran service providers such as VA HUD-VASH, American GI Forum, and Towne Twin Village, this program provides monthly boxes of shelf-stable food and essential hygiene products to veterans in transitional housing. Backed by dedicated grant funding, our goal is simple: to empower local organizations already serving our nation’s heroes by equipping them with the resources they need to help veterans regain stability and dignity.
Partner With Us
Are you a veteran-focused organization supporting individuals in transitional housing? We’re here to support you. As a participating site, your organization remains in control of the screening and outreach process—we simply supply the goods. The San Antonio Food Bank provides the food and hygiene kits; you distribute them directly to those who qualify. By working together, we can extend care, comfort, and consistency to the veterans who need it most. Join us in this mission and become a partner in veteran care.
