San Antonio Food Bank Achieves Coveted

4 – Star Rating From Charity Navigator

an Antonio Food Bank’s strong financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency have earned it the highest possible rating (4-star) from Charity Navigator, America’s largest independent charity evaluator. This is the ninth consecutive time the San Antonio Food Bank has earned this top distinction. Nationally, only 2% of the charities evaluated by Charity Navigator have received at least nine consecutive 4-star evaluations. 

Since 2002, using objective analysis, Charity Navigator has awarded only the most fiscally responsible organizations a 4-star rating. “Only 2% of the charities we evaluate have received at least 9 consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that the San Antonio Food Bank outperforms most other charities in America. This exceptional designation sets the San Antonio Food Bank apart from its peers and demonstrates to the public its trustworthiness,” according to Michael Thatcher, President and CEO of Charity Navigator.
