Rental vans and non-CDL box trucks

The San Antonio Food Bank is soliciting bids to furnish the following rental vehicles:

(12) Non-CDL Cargo/Panel Vans. These vehicles will be utilized by the San Antonio Food Bank staff members for our children’s feeding program and will be in service from 05/27/26 to 08/07/26. Please include all associated costs (i.e. mileage, physical damage, liability etc.) Only Non-CDL vehicles listed above will be considered for this solicitation. Please note all bids and contracts are subject to review by TDA.

Bid Details:

  • Delivery Procedures: Sealed bids must be hand delivered by time and date listed below to George Cox or Heather Guzman. If mailed bids must be sent via United States Postal Service Certified Mail to:San Antonio Food Bank C/O: George Cox 5200 Historic Old Hwy 90San Antonio, TX 78227
  • Bid due Date and Time: Monday 4/13/26 by 10am  (2 weeks’ time span from 3/23/26)
  • Bid Opening Date and Time: 4/13/26
  • Bid Opening Date and Time: Bids will be opened at 10 A.M. Central Time on Tuesday April 14, 2026 at the San Antonio Food Bank (address above). Bidding organization representative welcome to attend opening.
  • Evaluation /Voting Members – George Cox, Heather R. Guzman
  • Awarded vendor must deliver vehicles by 12pm on 5/27/26 to SAFB.
  • Any vehicle maintenance will require a scheduled appointment and replacement vehicle provided.
  • Rental company responsible for vehicle breakdowns and roadside assistance and will require a replacement vehicle as well.
  • Please provide two pricing options for the bid: one including insurance and one excluding insurance
  • Note – All vehicle BIDs and contracts are subject to review by TDA.
