Anyone can make a difference! Every year, the Canstruction competition elevates public awareness of the ongoing hunger crisis by challenging teams of dedicated architects, engineers, and contractors to build amazing sculptures using canned goods. All canned goods used during the competition will be donated to the San Antonio Food Bank, with the winning build displayed proudly in our lobby.

Helping is as easy as adding a donation at your next H-E-B checkout! From Wednesday, August 27, through Tuesday, October 7, H-E-B is partnering with food banks across Texas for their Help End Hunger campaign. Request to make a monetary donation at the checkout to help nourish neighbors in need. Every $1 equals 7 meals!

Making communities stronger takes all of us working together. We’ve joined forces with PetSmart Charities to ensure entire families have access to proper nutrition-that means their beloved pets too! Why? Because 70% of households have pets and a large portion of those households face food insecurity. Together, we are providing pet food to our community to prevent people and pets from facing hunger.

Join us on Friday, September 26 as Chick-fil-A partners with the San Antonio Food Bank for Hunger Action Month! Red barrels will be onsite at more than 35 participating San Antonio locations collecting items from our 12 Most Wanted List all day long. Together, Chick-fil-A restaurants are aiming to collect 10,000 canned goods to help fight hunger in our community.

From September 17–30, San Antonio area Pappadeaux and Pappasito’s locations will be collecting in-store donations as part of their Bite to Fight Hunger campaign.

From September 22–30, all San Antonio area P.Terry’s locations will be collecting items from our Most Wanted List to help fight hunger in our community.
