The Food Bank offers many outlets in which to access food.  You may visit any of our San Antonio Food Bank Market Distributions, our On-Site Curbside program, or you can connect with a pantry near you.

No.  There are walk-up or other alternative transportation options available. Call our offices for more information – 210.431.8326

Once you have successfully registered for an event you will receive a confirmation code.  If a confirmation code is not received it means the event is at capacity and you will need to revisit the main page to register for another distribution.

Confirmation codes are only given for those events that require preregistration in order to attend.

Benefits Assistance (SNAP & Medicaid)

Yes, we have live representatives available by phone Mon-Fri from 8AM – 6PM pm and Saturdays 9AM – 3PM. We also offer walk-in assistance Monday-Friday from 8-5pm.

Job Training

We offer two on-site training programs in Culinary and Warehouse/Logistics.  We can also connect to training opportunities in Aerospace/Architecture/Construction/Manufacturing/Oil and Gas/Energy/Utilities/Trades, Education/Professional Services/Other, Finance/Insurance, Healthcare, Information Technology/Cyber Security, Transportation and Warehousing.

Wraparound support services and emergency assistance is provided to ensure training completion as well as Job placement and retention services are also provided.

Ready to Work is open to thousands of San Antonio residents who reside within city council districts 1-10, who are at least 18 years old; permitted to work in the US; willing to take assessments; committed to completing the program; not currently enrolled in college; and whose household annual income is less than 250% of the federal poverty guidelines (i.e., $33,957 for an individual, or $69,375 for a household of four as of January 2022).
