GRANT: San Antonio Junior Forum Awards $5,000 For Backpack Program

Thank you, San Antonio Junior Forum!

Thanks to our friends at the San Antonio Junior Forum, the San Antonio Food Bank was awarded $5,000 in support of our BackPack Program. The program provides children residing in food insecure households with food packs filled with nutritious food that is child friendly, nonperishable, and easily consumed.

The mission of San Antonio Junior Forum is to strengthen civic, educational, and philanthropic awareness among women as they strive to serve those in need through service to non-profit charitable organizations, provision of financial assistance to students seeking higher education, and provision of philanthropic grants to non-profit organizations in the San Antonio area.

The San Antonio Food Bank is a 501c3 non-profit organization providing millions of pounds of food to more than 500 charitable organizations in Southwest Texas serving those in need.
