Battle Of Flowers Association Announces Eric S. Cooper Grand Marshal of the 133rd annual Battle of Flowers Parade

We are excited to announce that Eric S. Cooper, President and CEO of the San Antonio Food Bank, has been selected as the Grand Marshal for the 133rd annual Battle of Flowers Parade. This esteemed event, presented by the Battle of Flowers Association, will take place on Friday, April 26th, with a new step-off time of 10:30 am.
The theme for the upcoming parade is ¡VIVA AMOR 2024!, celebrating the rich cultural diversity and joyous festivities that define San Antonio. Eric Cooper, affectionately known as the “Food Bank Guy,” perfectly embodies the spirit of community and love.
In his humble response to being named Grand Marshal, Eric Cooper emphasized the collective effort of the community and his incredible team at the San Antonio Food Bank. As a man of faith and family, he sees food as a symbol of love and expressed, “To me, food is love. And when we share food and break bread, I can truly say Viva Amor! Viva San Antonio!”
