Throughout May, you will be campaigning alongside your legal peers to fight hunger across Southwest Texas.

Earn Points By Donating

Food donations are essential to our mission. Host a food drive and collect non-perishable goods that reach the 105,000 people we now serve weekly.

1LB OF FOOD = 1 POINT

Volunteer! Each volunteer shift completed by a representative from your firm will earn your team 50 points towards the overall goal; bring your family and friends to earn points as well!

1 VOLUNTEER SHIFT = 50 POINTS

Did you know that for every $1 collected we are able to source 10 pounds of food? Your dollar is also equivalent to 7 meals, and has a lasting impact that will stretch across our 29 county service territory.

$1 = 10 POINTS

Advocate for our mission by sharing information about the San Antonio Food Bank and this campaign on your social networks.

1 POST = 30 POINTS

Track & Report Points

To track your points for food donations, you must complete the Food Donation Confirmation Form. When completing the form, you will need to enter your donor ID number; you will receive your donor ID via email after submitting the food drive registration form. If you cannot locate your donor ID number, please email our Food and Fund Drive Coordinator at fooddrives@safoodbank.org​.

In order to receive points for your volunteer shift, you must complete the Volunteer Confirmation Receipt Form​. An individual volunteer may fill this form out, or the team lead for a group of volunteers may fill it out on behalf of themselves and their group members.

To receive points for your monetary donation, donate to the Food from the Bar via our campaign portal​.

If your team has not yet started an online fundraiser, Start a Fundraiser and follow all prompts.

If your team has already created an online fundraiser and you’d like to contribute, Find a Team​ and search for your group in the search bar.

For Tours:
Please find all tour dates and times posted on the calendar below. If you plan to attend one of the scheduled tours, let us know which date/time you plan to attend and how many individuals from your team will be joining by emailing ekester@safoodbank.org. All tours will begin in the volunteer lobby of the San Antonio Food Bank. Each attendee will sign a paper receipt confirming their attendance to track points.

For Social Media Posts:
Social posts can only be made by the team account, not individual team members. Be sure to tag us, @SAFoodBank, and use the hashtag #SAFoodFromTheBar. To gain points for your social media posts, simply screenshot them and email them to ekester@safoodbank.org​.
