La Mesa de la Gente continues a tradition of reflection and philanthropic collaboration as the Archdiocese of San Antonio, Compassionate San Antonio, Main Plaza Conservancy, Interfaith San Antonio Alliance, and the San Fernando Cathedral join together in hosting a citywide, interfaith gathering to support the San Antonio Food Bank’s mission of eliminating hunger in Southwest Texas.
Join us for an evening of song and prayer that builds continuity between our missions & traditions.
This event is free and open to the public.
Event Schedule
- 4 – 7 PM – Can-struction event and citywide food drive located in the heart of the city’s Main Plaza
- 6 – 7 PM – Music and table prayers from a variety of multi-faith traditions & religions
- 7 – 8 PM – Join us inside the San Fernando Cathedral for an inclusive, multi-faith gathering of contemplation and giving in gratitude
Free downtown parking on Tuesdays at 5 PM
