SAN ANTONIO - Thousands of San Antonio families will not have to worry about putting a holiday meal on the table this season.

The Najim Charitable Foundation and San Antonio Food Bank are teaming up this month for a few mega distributions.

Wednesday, families lined up at Brooks City Base where volunteers loaded their cars with bread, veggies, fruit, turkeys, and more to feed their families.

“The families don't have to think about the food, the meal they are going to put on the table for the holiday with their family with their children. so, it is important to us as a foundation and as Harvey, we value feeding the children during the holidays,” says Melissa Bauman of the Najim Charitable Foundation.

Two more distributions are scheduled for next week, one being on Dec. 14 at the AT&T Center. Then, another one on Dec. 15 at the NISD Gustafson Stadium parking lot.
