Steps to Volunteer


Step 1: Complete a volunteer schedule request online.

Please allow 3 business days to process your application.

Step 2: The Volunteer Manager will review your application and accept and/or deny your application to volunteer.

If your application is denied we will contact you to let you know the reason for denial by phone or email. If your application is accepted the following steps will be completed to schedule a volunteer session.

Step 3: The Volunteer Manager will review the calendar for availability (based on your proposal for a volunteer session and SAFB needs).

Step 4: The Volunteer Manager will send you a calendar comfirmation for the opportunity, date and shift requested via email.

If none of the dates request are available we will contact you to discuss other possible opportunities. We rely on our volunteers to help us accomplish all that we do!

If you are ever unable to make a scheduled volunteer session or bring the number of volunteers confirmed please let us know within 48 hours of scheduled session.
