SAN ANTONIO - After a three-year hiatus, the highly anticipated Champions Against Hunger Dinner is set to return on March 1, 2024.

The event, hosted by Coach Gregg Popovich, will feature San Antonio Spurs players and coaches serving an intimate multicourse meal with wine pairings to 200 guests. The dinner aims to raise funds for the San Antonio Food Bank, donating over one million meals to those in need.

The event will be at The Rock at La Cantera.

Among the notable attendees are Coach Gregg Popovich, Eric Cooper (San Antonio Food Bank President & CEO), and a yet-to-be-announced Spurs player.

The Champions Against Hunger Dinner, now in its 10th season, is a philanthropic initiative to give back to the community. The event is a collaborative effort between the San Antonio Spurs and the San Antonio Food Bank, aiming to help the fight against hunger.

The dinner's unique feature is the active involvement of Spurs players and coaches, who will personally serve the guests. This engagement creates an intimate atmosphere and emphasizes the Spurs' commitment to supporting their community. The event is expected to raise funds for more than one million meals through the San Antonio Food Bank.

Renowned San Antonio chefs Steve McHugh and Jason Dady have curated the multicourse meal. McHugh, leading the Spurs Club at the Victory Capital Performance Center, and Dady, who is opening the new Roca & Martillo restaurant at The Rock at La Cantera, designed a culinary experience that promises to delight the senses.

This dinner marks the return of a beloved tradition but also symbolizes the ongoing commitment of the San Antonio Spurs champions on and off the court.
