Eric Cooper, President of San Antonio Food Bank, thanks 600 new registered volunteers

SAN ANTONIO- The San Antonio Food Bank had a very successful turnout of volunteers this week for volunteers, with more than 600 people making a new registration for a shift.

"We made an appeal, and you heard the call. You showed up to help us feed families in this COVID-19 crisis. Thank you for being our superhero. Continue to be that, and you know for superheroes, capes are optional, but masks are required," Eric Cooper, President and CEO of the San Antonio Food Bank said in a video.

In particular, the food bank's mobile distributions have become incredibly important during the COVID-19 environment are looking good for the rest of July and into August.
