A middle school student raised hundreds of dollars for the San Antonio Food Bank by selling handmade bracelets.

Samantha Alvarez' parents say the Zachary Middle School student wanted to help others during the pandemic, so she started making bracelets to sell.

She started with a goal of $50, her parents would match with another $50, but she soon made about $325. She will be donating that amount to the San Antonio Food Bank.

Way to go, Samantha!
