Client Services Specialist – New Braunfels Food Bank

This position will work out of the New Braunfels Food Bank, but report and be accountable to the San Antonio Food Bank Client Services management. Responsible for providing application assistance for federal programs to potentially eligible persons and educate SAFB rural counties served of the federal programs and any all other food bank programs. Position will also assist and fulfill duties at NBFB assigned. Effectively works within a team and all clients are handled efficiently and with a high degree of professional compassionate service.

Summer Vista

The 2 Summer Associates serving at the San Antonio Food Bank will act in one of the following capacities. Workforce Development Associate: collecting, entering, and analyzing data regarding clients and employers, assisting with the coordination of job readiness classes, and communicating with and assisting workforce clients. Feeding With Impact Research Associate: Develop surveys and feedback loops to analyze nutritional behavioral changes, gaps in food bank services, usefulness of resources provided, and suggestions to improve programming.

Donor Relations Manager

The primary objective of this position is to cultivate and steward individual donors making gifts of $1,000 through portfolio management, donor recognition strategies and cultivation events and activities. This role is focused on acquiring, cultivating, renewing, and upgrading donors under $1,000. The Manager of Donor Relations collaborates with the Director of Individual Giving and Manager of Individual Giving to support the overall donor pipeline strategy.

Animal and Garden Care Worker

The Animal and Garden Care Worker will assist in the implementation of the Community Garden Initiative in partnership with members of other SAFB departments such as Development, Operations to be able to bring resources for this initiative and distribute fresh produce to the network of agencies.
