New Braunfels Food Bank Coordinator

The general purpose of this position is to assist in all programs offered at the New Braunfels Food Bank. Emphasis is on customer service, nutrition education, food distribution and connecting clients with resources available in community. This position will also be responsible for teaching classes with an emphasis on Healthy Cooking, Physical Activity, Gardening and Financial Literacy (Eating Healthy under a Budget) and the self-sustainability portion of the program.

Nutrition Education Chef/Coordinator

The Nutrition Education Chef/Coordinator will implement the Nutrition, Health & Wellness Curriculum and Gardening initiatives at different schools, community based organizations in partnership with teachers/educators, nutrition professionals/dietitians, chefs and other community workers. Duties include scheduling and conducting nutrition, health & wellness and gardening classes, building school and urban gardens and training organizations on their maintenance.
