Everyone has a role to play in fighting hunger. Our community’s need for support has grown, and as a result, the San Antonio Food Bank now serves over 100,000 individuals each week across a 29 county service region. We take action every day to help individuals and families get the nourishment they need.

Give The Gift of Food

Food donations are critical to our ongoing efforts to fight hunger in Southwest Texas. Food donations and drives can be conducted by any individual or group.

  • MAKE A FOOD DONATION: To drop-off a food donation, visit our campus located at 5200 Historic Old Hwy 90, San Antonio, TX 78227.
  • START A FOOD DRIVE: To start a food drive, please fill out our Food & Fund Drive form at safoodbank.org/ways-to-help/foodfunddriveregister/or click the button below.
  • SUPPORT COMMUNITY PARTNERS: Thanks to our partners at Santikos, if you donate four of our 12 Most Wanted Items at your local Santikos Movie Theater, you will receive a popcorn voucher and game card.

Give The Gift of Time

Volunteers like you are essential in helping the San Antonio Food Bank eliminate hunger. Donate your time as an individual, group, or company – all abilities and ages welcome. Our volunteer opportunities range from:
  • Sorting and packing food donations
  • Distributing food at curbside and mobile distributions
  • Harvesting in our garden and farm
  • Preparing meals in our community kitchen
