April is almost here and that means Fiesta fever is on the horizon!
We can’t wait to unveil our 2017 Fiesta medal with you!
This month, we have many new opportunities to fight hunger in our community.
We hope to see you at any of our future events!

Medals for Meals Reveal Party!

Join us for Medal for Meals on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the Food Bank! Come celebrate Fiesta with savory appetizers, margaritas and the unveiling of our 2017 Fiesta medal! Tickets are $25 and include (1) SAFB Fiesta medal, (1) food ticket, and (2) drink tickets (non-alcoholic options available). We will also have partnering individuals and businesses selling Fiesta medals on-site.

Ancira Free Music Series at County Line

Music nights under the stars are back! Join The County Line (10101 W IH 10, San Antonio, Texas 78230) for a rockin’ good time with a free concert every Thursday! Donations for admission will be accepted for the San Antonio Food Bank in the form of monetary gifts and non-perishable food items.

Picnic for a Cause at Houston Street Food Picnic

Feast in the center of downtown and enjoy the sights and great company at the Houston Street Food Picnic brought to you by the Houston Street Charities! Tickets are $45 and include a picnic basket filled with gourmet delicacies from one of the following eateries: Bohanan’s, The Palm, Market on Houston, Chef John Russ. Proceeds benefit the Food Bank.

Help your local Boys and Girls Scouts by Scouting for Food

On Saturday, April 8, 2017, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts will deliver empty paper bags throughout their local neighborhoods. The bags have instructions on them for you to fill with nonperishable items and leave on your doorstop early the following Saturday morning April 15, 2017.

Starting at 9:00am on Saturday, April 15, 2017, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts will retrace their steps, pick up the filled bags and then deliver them to drop points throughout the region where the San Antonio Food Bank will have trucks waiting to collect the food

Get ready to give back for Feed SA

Feed SA is a multi-congregational Food & Fund Drive during the spring harvest season to feed the hungry in San Antonio. The San Antonio Food Bank invites you to host a Food & Fund Drive at your congregation around a springtime holiday-be it Lent, Easter, Passover, or the First Day of Spring.

Tee off against hunger at the 13th Annual Doing Good On The Green Tournament

Join us on May 10, 2017 at our 13^th Annual Doing Good on the Green Golf Tournament at TPC San Antonio and play where the Pros play as we swing away hunger for good!

Tournament registrations on both The Oaks and Canyons courses are open for individuals, foursomes, or corporate sponsors.

Delight your tastebuds at the Taste of the Dominion

The 22nd Annual Taste of the Dominion, held on the grounds of The Dominion Country Club, will take place on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM.

Tickets are $35 each and the evening features more than twenty local restaurants sampling their signature dishes, an extensive silent auction, and live music. Please join us for a lovely evening where the proceeds of the silent auction and ticket sales benefit the San Antonio Food Bank.
