Emergency Assistance and Volunteer Information

**Residents in need of shelter, food, or other assistance, are advised to call 3-1-1.**

The San Antonio Office of Emergency Management (SAOEM) has partnered with the San Antonio Food Bank and will provide a staging area for volunteers. The San Antonio Food Bank and SAOEM staff will coordinate volunteer registration and assigned duties. Citizens are asked not to self-deploy to affected areas.

If interested in volunteering to board homes, clear debris, or tarp roofs, please view the registration details below:

The San Antonio Food Bank will host on-sight Volunteer Registration from 10-2pm for volunteers interested in assisting with debris cleanup. This will be a physically labor intensive volunteer opportunity.

Closed toe shoes
Volunteers should bring their own gloves and water

In addition to volunteering…

Citizens may consider donating to any of the following partner organizations who are all assisting with disaster recovery efforts: The American Red Cross, The San Antonio Food Bank, and United Way. 

Important Tax Notice

For individual donors who made a cumulative donation of $250 or more in the 2016 calendar year, an itemized list of your annual donations will be mailed to you at your address of record on January 27, 2017. If you have any questions, please contact Katie Kinder DeBauche at

22nd Annual Taste of The Dominion

Please join The Dominion Country Club in supporting the San Antonio Food Bank by attending Taste of The Dominion, its annual tasting event and silent auction. Tickets are only $35 each and the evening features more than twenty local restaurants sampling their signature dishes, an extensive silent auction, and live music.
