Volunteer Scheduling Coordinator
The primary objectives of this position are to procure in-kind donations of labor and establish strong relationships with the volunteer organizations and individuals. This position acquires and schedules volunteers to support the programs of the San Antonio Food Bank in addition to SAFB events.
Children’s Program Menu Manager
Plan menus for reimbursable meals according to the USDA and TDA National School Lunch, School Breakfast and After School Care Programs guidelines, Child and Adult Care Feeding Program (CACFP), and Summer Feeding (SFSP) Program.
Sous Chef (Haven for Hope)
Supervise production of high volume of meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Snack & Dinner) according to USDA guidelines for the appropriate program (Kid’s Café, CACFP, NSLP, ASCP, SBP).
Mobile Pantry Coordinator
The primary objective of this position is to effectively plan, develop, and implement the San Antonio Food Bank’s Mobile Pantry Program. The secondary objective of this position is to fulfill any activities that meet the advancement needs of Partner Services of the San Antonio Food Bank.
Donor Engagement Coordinator
To provide support, leadership and engagement opportunities to all volunteers at San Antonio Food Bank. Position is responsible for completion of daily projects as identified by the Volunteer Services Program Manager.
Driver (Class A or B)
This position is responsible to pick up and secure all food and grocery item donations. Responsible for the distribution of food and grocery items to our agencies in the 16 county service areas.
San Antonio Food Bank Workforce Coordinator (New Braunfels)
Primarily responsible for training activities in a classroom setting to improve program participant’s ability to effectively seek employment as well as provide instruction in the pre-employment process.
Farmers’ Market Coordinator
The Nutrition Education/Farmers’ Market Coordinator will dedicate 60% of efforts to implement the Nutrition Education initiative and 40% of the efforts to coordinate the SAFB Farmers’ Markets initiative in partnership with school teachers, volunteers, chefs, nutrition professionals, local farmers and local government officials.
Manager of Agricultural Initiatives
The manager will assist in the implementation of the Community Garden Initiative, Urban Farm initiative as well as keep a partnership with members of other SAFB departments such as Development, Nutrition and Operations. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the resources for these initiatives and to distribute fresh produce to the network of agencies and kitchens. Person will manage and maintain farm programs, schedules, orders, records and relationships.
Garden Engagement Coordinator
Coordinate with the Volunteer Engagement Team and Garden Manager to effectively utilize volunteers to assist with the Community Garden.
Corporate Giving Manager
The primary objective of this position is to work with the Director of Community Investments to secure resources (food, time, money, and voice) from a portfolio of 75-100 corporations and organizations. The Corporate Giving Manager will be responsible for prospect research, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship for constituents in this portfolio and will serve as a team lead for special events that raise both money and food.
Director of Individual Giving
The primary objective of this position is to effectively plan, develop, and implement a fundraising plan for major gifts including, but not limited to, the identification, cultivation, solicitation, recognition, and tracking of major gift prospects. This position will carry a portfolio of 75-100 major gifts prospects.
Nutrition Education Coordinator
The Nutrition Education Coordinator will implement the Nutrition, Health & Wellness Curriculum and Gardening initiatives at different schools, community based organizations in partnership with teachers/educators, nutrition professionals/dietitians, chefs and other community workers. Duties include scheduling and conducting nutrition, health & wellness and gardening classes, building school and urban gardens and training organizations on their maintenance.
Volunteer Services Intern
Join the Volunteer Services team within the Development Department and learn how to run a volunteer program and schedule volunteers for a complex matrix of volunteer opportunities.
