DaisyCares Pawedu Program Coordinator
DaisyCares is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation created to provide pet food, medical care to needy pets, and reduce animal abuse through public education and awareness.
Pawedu was created to teach the care of animals through education and awareness and offer a class for individuals interested in information on how to reduce animal cruelty.
The primary objectives of this position are ensuring that the promotion and the day to day operations of the Pawedu Program run effectively and efficiently.
This position is responsible to pick up and secure all food and grocery item donations and be responsible for the distribution of food and grocery items to our agencies in the 16 county service areas. This position will require the person to spend a portion of their time driving and another potion of their time assisting the Transportation Manager with coordinating drivers and assignments.This position is responsible to pick up and secure all food and grocery item donations and be responsible for the distribution of food and grocery items to our agencies in the 16 county service areas. This position will spend approximately 60% of the time driving and approximately 40% of the time assisting the Transportation Manager in coordinating drivers and their assignments.
Special Events Coordinator
The primary objective of this position is to work with the Director of Community Investments to secure resources (food, time, money, and voice) through special events. This individual will manage all of the San Antonio Food Bank’s signature special events and other events as assigned. Annual fundraising targets will be determined by the Director of Community Investments for this position. This position will also be involved as a team leader for the tours and presentations, food & fund drives, cause related marketing, 3rd party events, and other special promotions as assigned by the Director of Community Investments or Chief Development Officer.
Clerk: Corner Store Micro-store
The primary objective of this position is to handle all aspects of the San Antonio Food Bank Corner Store microstore, this includes product ordering, inventory management, daily sales transactions, cash handling and reconciliation of sales/inventory. This position stocks and manages other Food Bank merchandise that is sold. During Corner Store down times, this position helps out in the volunteer lobby by keeping it clean and assisting the volunteer team as needed.
