The SAFB Social Service department would like the opportunity to assist you or someone you care about with COMPLETE application/renewal assistance for the following benefits:  

  • Food Stamps - Average food stamp case is $279.00
  • TANF- A client could be eligible one time $1000.00 payment to families meeting crisis criteria. Grandparents taking custody of their Grand Children could be eligible for a one time $1000.00 payment. It's called Grandparent TANF
  • Children's Medicaid/CHIP - A family of 4 could have a yearly income of $44,000 or $3,675 monthly and may be eligible for low or no cost insurance for their children.                    
  • CHIP Perinatal - Provides prenatal care to women 19 and older not eligible for Medicaid due to income or immigration status
  • Adult Medicaid - Provides no cost health care coverage for eligible adults
  • Women's Health Program - Provides no cost gynecological exams as well as important health screening.
  • Women's Infants and Children - Forget those annoying paper vouchers, now WIC is available on EBT card just like Food Stamps
  • MEPD (Medicaid for Persons with Disabilities) - Do you know someone who has $96.40 deducted from their Social Security check for prescription coverage. They may be eligible for assistance with this payment.
